So last week I picked up a copy of the East Texan and was a little angry when I read about the feral cat article. They claim we do not have any program for feral cats when in fact two of our students from the wildlife program started a study over the summer. They captured and collared feral cats and now monitor their activities. They will put this data together to form some kind of plan for the control of feral cats in Commerce, TX. In the article the writer uses an English professor as the expert instead of the actual experts in the Biology department.
